Dr. Chanchal Garg
Dr. Chanchal Garg brings over 17 years of rich experience in academics, research, and administration. She earned her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, under a prestigious DST-funded project. She later received a distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, under the UGC-PDFW scheme.
Her primary research interests lie in phytochemistry, quality control, and the standardization of medicinal plants and herbal formulations. Dr. Garg has made significant contributions to these fields, with numerous high-quality publications in reputed, high-impact journals. Her scholarly work also includes one patent currently under process, three authored books, and several book chapters.
A recognized voice in pharmaceutical sciences, Dr. Garg has delivered invited lectures at various national and international professional platforms, showcasing her expertise and commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and research.
B.Pharm is a four-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on pharmaceutical sciences, drug formulation, and their effects on the human body. Students learn about pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and drug regulations. This course prepares students for careers as pharmacists, drug inspectors, researchers, and in pharmaceutical marketing. Graduates can work in hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, healthcare sectors, and even open their own pharmacies. The course includes practical lab training, internships, and industrial exposure to enhance hands-on experience. B.Pharm is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), ensuring high-quality education and career opportunities.
