WCMSRH got Six Sigma Excellence Award for Best Covid Hospital in North India

Dr. Narendra Singh, Chairman, World College of Medical Sciences & Research and Hospital, Jhajjar got Six Sigma Excellence Award for Best Covid Hospital in North India from Hon’ble I&B minister Shri Anurag Thakur for their extraordinary work in Health care sector especially in the time of #COVID19.

WCMSRH has emerged as a pioneer medical institution. It has received much appreciation from renowned doctors and medical institutions. Despite being a newly opened institution, it has made its own mark.

Indu khurana Dean Academics WCMSRH honored by. Excellence Award for contribution in Physiology in Physiocon -2016. 1 st conference of Association of physiologists of Haryana held on 24 th April 2016 at PGIMS, Rohtak.

Indu khurana, MD, is presently Dean Academics, and Professor of Physiology, World College of Medical Sciences and Research, Jhajjar. Formaly she was Senior Professor and Head Department of Physiology at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), and Dean Faculty of Pre-clinical Sciences, University of Health Sciences, (UHS), Rohtak, She is Founder President of Association of Physiologist of Haryana and possesses a rich teaching experience of about 38 years. She has published extensively in national and international journals with discovery of a new reflex, the 'Oculodepressor Reflex' (ODR) and three distinct patterns of Oculorespiratory reflex (ORR) to her credit. For her valuable contribution in the physiology of oculovisceral reflexes, she has been bestowed with excellence awards by American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and Strabismological Society of India (SSI), She has also been honored with excellence Award by Association of Physiologist of Haryana for her exemplary contribution in the field of Physiology.

She is an established author having published many successful books, mainly Textbook of Medical Physiology for Postgraduates, Medical Physiology for Undergraduate Students, Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology of Eye, Essential of Medical Physiology, Textbook of Human Embryology, and Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology for Diploma Nursing. She has also contributed many chapters for Modern System of Ophthalmology, a postgraduate reference book.

Lifetime Achievement National Award for her contribution to academics as an author of reputed text-book and scientific research work in the field of Physiology at 4th ICON BAP – 2018 held at Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

Extra Curricular Awards:- Our students won ‘Best College Performer Trophy’ in ‘UMANG’, an inter college cultural fest organised by BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Khanpur, Sonipat in March 2018.
